Note! Consider this before choosing the i2i Headrest: The Headrest is the finishing point of any seating system - NOT A STARTING POINT. If a client does not hold his/her head erect it does not necessarily mean he has poor head control. IT COULD BE THE RESULT OF A POORLY FITTING OR IMPROPER SEATING SYSTEM! Always begin with a thorough mat evaluation where all orthopedic and medical concerns are addressed. Only after you have determined that the client's seating system is a proper fit, and your client continues to require assistance with his head control, would we recommend the use of the i2i system. The i2i is not intended to function like a Custom Molded Seat for the head. It is designed to allow freedom of movement of the neck but present boundaries to limit neck extension and anterior flexion (when using Chin Prompt). - Always ensure seatbelt and harness are being used and are securely engaged. - The i2i Anterior Stabilizer Arms can be "bent" for individual conformity / fit. - Recommendation and Fitting of the i2i head and neck support system should be done by a qualified professional.
